Helping people understand themselves more deeply
I believe therapy should help people understand themselves more honestly and more completely. That understanding creates greater choice—both in how we respond to life's challenges and in how we relate to the people who matter most.
I don't believe our past defines us, but I do believe it shapes us. We all develop ways of thinking, relating, and protecting ourselves that make sense in the context of our experiences. Understanding those patterns isn't about assigning blame or staying stuck in the past. It's about creating the freedom to choose what comes next.

My career has taken me from private practice to founding and leading a residential mental health program and back again—an experience that taught me how much the right support changes what's possible. Along the way, I've worked with people navigating trauma, addiction, strained relationships, and major life transitions like divorce, career change, or becoming an empty nester. Every step reinforced the same belief: meaningful change begins with understanding.
I also understand firsthand the unique pressures that come with leadership, entrepreneurship, and running a business. Many of my clients are balancing demanding careers or businesses alongside family, relationships, or caregiving responsibilities—quietly carrying more than most people realize. From the outside, life may look successful. Internally, they often feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or frustrated by patterns they can't seem to change. I meet clients with an understanding of both the visible demands they face and the internal struggles they often carry alone.

Therapy isn't only about pain. It's also about clarity, connection, resilience, and the moments when something finally makes sense. Those moments are why I love this work.
My role isn't simply to listen or offer reassurance. It's to help you recognize the patterns that may no longer be serving you, offer honest observations, and gently challenge you to consider new perspectives and possibilities. I'll always do that with respect, compassion, and without judgment.
As a therapist, entrepreneur, wife, and mother of adult children, I've experienced many of the competing demands my clients face. I understand the complexity of balancing meaningful work with meaningful relationships, and how easy it is to lose yourself in the responsibilities of both.
